Johanna Bruckner - Exploring Human - AI Relationships
The internationally successful artist Johanna Bruckner has beennominated for the S+T+ARTS Ec(h)o Residency on the theme "Exploring Human – AI Relationships." Her work is characterized by a multimedia approach, in which the performativity of the human body plays a prominent role. In her installations, which formally combine technological machinery with organic bodies, videos generated using computer graphics software regularly appear, accompanied by sound compositions. The artist addresses themes of biopolitics, feminism, queer theory, and posthumanism. For her project at TUD, Bruckner is focusing on interfaces—both connection points and points of rupture—between bodies and technology. The focus is on invasive and non-invasive methodologies in medicine and AI research.
