Collection of Historical Charts
Botanical Chart
The Office for Academic Heritage has adopted historical teaching charts from numerous disciplines, especially natural sciences, and brought them together in a central collection. The collection documents the development of these important didactic aids, from 19th century hand-coloured copies to items from the GDR era.
Physical Teaching Materials for Vocational Education
Metal construction set
This collection was transferred to the OAH from the former Institute of Technical Methodology. It consists of more than 70 measuring instruments and other equipment. The oldest pieces date back to the second half of the 19th century, the most recent from around 1960. Among them are the telegraph, current and voltage meters, testing devices as well as construction kits for school teaching.
