Staff Unit Equal Opportunities and Diversity Management
We, the team of the Staff Unit Gender Equality and Diversity Management, support the Faculty and the School of Medicine in fulfilling the University's legal mandate to establish equal opportunities and achieve their gender equality goals. To this end, we prepare and evaluate statistical and situational analyses, and advise members of the Faculty and the School of Medicine on the results-oriented derivation of recommendations for action and measures and their implementation. We also offer diversity consulting as advice on the inclusion of gender and diversity in research and teaching.
In research, we advise you on the organizational framework conditions of your research project, e.g. when filling research positions or creating a non-discriminatory and diversity-sensitive research environment, as well as on the implementation of gender and other diversity categories in the research questions themselves. In teaching, we advise you on the creation of a non-discriminatory and diversity-sensitive teaching and learning environment and support you in the implementation of gender and diversity-sensitive medicine content in your teaching. We also participate in various teaching and training formats for members of the faculty. We work closely together with the Equal Opportunities Officers and support them in the implementation of projects.
