Staff Unit Equal Opportunities and Diversity Management
We, the team of the Staff Unit Equal Opportunities and Diversity Management, support the Faculty and the School of Medicine in fulfilling the legal mandate to establish equal opportunities and achieve their gender equality goals. To this end, we prepare and evaluate statistical and situational analyses, and advise members of the Faculty and the School of Medicine on the results-oriented derivation of recommendations for action and measures and their implementation. Our team also offers advice on the inclusion of sex/gender and diversity in funding projects (so-called gender consulting), both in relation to the organizational framework conditions of the research project and in relation to the research questions. We work closely together with the Equal Opportunity Officers and support them in the implementation of projects. We also advise and support lecturers in implementing gender-sensitive content in their teaching and participate in various teaching and training formats.
