What am I working on?
My colleagues and I are working together on the NGScopes (Next Generation Endoscopy) project. We are researching the development of new types of surgical instruments. We are not using conventional electric motors, but actuators based on shape memory alloys. We hope that surgeons will be able to operate even more successfully with our innovative instruments. I am responsible for part of the planning and design in the project.

What can you talk to me about?
We can talk about our project, the demonstrator on display and the work at the Chair of Microsystems Technology. I can tell you about the exciting collaboration between doctors and engineers or explain the shape memory effect.
