Tasks of the MFD NKLM implementation working group
The vision
With the implementation of the NKLM, students will be offered an innovative, competence-oriented and content-coordinated medical degree program in accordance with the new requirements.
The main tasks in 2025/26 are
- Formulation of faculty-internal learning objectives (FiLZ) for each course of our curricula (standard and model degree program) by the respective employees of the institutes, clinics and specialist departments
- Mapping of the curricula (standard and model degree program) by entering the FiLZ in the LOOOP learning management system
- Mapping of the FiLZs with the NKLM content
- Qualitative and quantitative analysis of the curriculum
- Expansion of the knowledge and competence base of the teaching staff with regard to NKLM 2.0 and 2.1 through training options in a targeted manner as part of the medical didactic qualification at the MFD
- Nomination of participants for the NKLM expert pool from the second half of 2026
- Representation of the MFD and the implementation process to external interest groups and stakeholders (TU, MFT, professional societies, etc.), or coordination and moderation of process-related inquiries in consultation with the faculty management

Establishing transparent communication of the implementation process within the MFD, towards its academic teaching hospitals/teaching practices and the University Hospital

Receiving, forwarding and processing internal faculty inquiries about the NKLM implementation process and collaboration in project groups
What the working group does not do

the formulation of verbalized faculty-internal learning objectives (FiLZ) for institutes, clinics or departments

the distribution of NKLM learning objectives to institutes, clinics or departments

intervening in the coordination of teaching or restructuring the content of courses within the institutes, clinics or departments

changes to the curriculum by redistributing courses between institutes, clinics or departments
