International Affairs

TU Dresden’s School of Medicine maintains numerous national and international connections and supports the co-operation with various institutes and bodies as well as the international exchange of PhD/MD students and administrative staff.

MITZ - Inter-Professional Medical Training Centre (Medizinisches Interprofessionelles Trainingszentrum)

In the MITZ students of Medical Care and Dentistry of the TU Dresden acquire manual and communicative base skills under the guidance of medical, psychological and student tutors. The learning objectives and contents are developed in close cooperation with the fields or different clinics and are conveyed suiting the study progress in semester-specific training programs.

With the courses of Medicine, Dentistry, Public Health and Medical Radiation Sciences, the Faculty of Medicine Carl Gustav Carus offers a breadth of subjects and disciplines as well as academic diversity. More than 2,500 students are enroled in these subjects in Dresden.

International exchange is a prerequisite for cutting-edge research - the University Medicine in Dresden lives this idea with employees from 73 nations as well as numerous collaborations with researchers and teams from around the world.
