Welcome to the Faculty of Biology

The founding of the Faculty of Biology in 1994 became the nucleus of Dresden's life sciences, which today includes many other institutions in the DRESDEN-concept network. The diversity of research at the Faculty of Biology is also reflected in the three attractive degree programs offered by the faculty. Prospective students can choose between the Bachelor's degree course "Molecular Biology and Biotechnology" and the Master's degree courses "Biology in Society" and "Molecular Biosciences and Productive Biosystems". Modern laboratory and practical equipment at the Faculty of Biology, an application-oriented and research-oriented education and the enthusiastic commitment of our staff guarantee an exciting and future-oriented course of study.
