Oculus
The European Union offers a variety of funding programmes to support research and education as a valuable public good. Our project was funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
Brief description
The goal of OCULUS is to develop a reversible, cyclable prototype of a lithium-sulfur high-energy cell without excess indium, as well as to perform
operando analysis and solve the performance-limiting problems of solid-state Li-S batteries. Specifically, the focus is on maximizing active material utilization, a
lithium/carbon fiber composite material, and a cyclable cell stack consisting of a lithium anode, separator layer, and sulfur/carbon/argyrodite
cathode.
The European Union is supporting us by financing the personnel, as well as all material and travel expenses incurred.
