Research topic
Spectroelectrochemical and electroanalytical investigation of novel degradation reactions starting from white phosphorus The research topic is focused on the development of sustainable, electrochemical synthetic routes from white phosphorus to valuable phosphorus containing compounds. A broad variety of electroanalytical and UV-VIS-NIR, Raman and IR spectroelectrochemical methods is used to investigate the electrode reaction mechanisms. Preparative electrosynthesis combined with in situ electroanalytical methods are applied to develop novel reaction pathways starting from P4.
