The Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker (GDCh) the largest chemical association in Europe with members from academia, education and industry. GDCh has set itself the task of promoting chemistry and deepening the public's understanding and knowledge of chemistry.

The local branch Dresden

The Dresden branch of the GDCh is the regional contact partner for technical information and cooperation in the field of chemistry and materials research in the "Oberes Elbtal" area. He is responsible for organizing professional events for members and interested parties.

Colloquia and events

A large number of lectures and events are held in the Dresden branch and the JungChemikerForum Dresden of the GDCh, which appeal to both a specialist audience and those interested in chemistry. Learn more

JungChemikerForum

The JungeChemieForum (JCF) is the organization of the young members of the GDCh. It is divided into local forums, which enrich what is on offer at their respective locations with their activities. They represent the interests of members who are in education, studying and in their first years of work. Learn more

Young food chemistry group

We represent students and doctoral candidates in the field of food chemistry at German universities, food chemists in their practical year and young professionals. In order to achieve our goals, we are constantly expanding our established information network. We meet nationally every six months and monthly regionally. Learn more
