Study abroad with Erasmus

You want to study one to two semester abroad to enhance your language ability, get prepared for your future job, gain new experience and socialize.

With the "Erasmus+" program you can stay at various universities in europe and world wide! The financial support for an exchange stay (3-12 month) at a foreign partner university is available from the completion of your first academic year until the graduation (BA, MA, PhD). In addition to study stays, the support of traineeships is also possible [Leonardo Büro Sachsen].

All about organisation and application you can find on ERASMUS  at the International office (Akademischen Auslandsamt (AAA)) of the TU Dresden.

The application deadline for the academic year 2025/26 (whether winter or summer semester) ends on March 15, 2025.

After expiration of this deadline, it is possible to apply for remaining places for the summer semester 2026 in a second application process. The faculty-internal deadline for this ends on September 1st, 2025.

Mobility Party on 15.01.2025

The joint information event of the School of Sciences on studying abroad 2025-26 - the Mobility Party - will take place on Wednesday, 15.01.2025, starting at 6:30 pm presumably in the lecture hall of the Fritz-Foerster-Building (FOE/0244/H). All students of the department are welcome! After a short presentation of the International Office, the Leonardo Office and the Erasmus coordinators of the faculties, you can directly address your questions to the respective representatives in a cozy atmosphere with snacks and drinks.
