Nebel, Olha Aftenieva, Vaibhav Gupta, Amit Das, Joby Joseph, Sven Wießner, Tobias A.F. König, and Andreas Fery) has been published in Advanced Functional Materials. More wrinkling of Cosserat shells, this time with stress plots!
- May 10, 2021: The paper Controlling line defects in wrinkling: a pathway towards hierarchical wrinkling structures (with André Knapp, Lisa Nebel, Mirko Nitschke and Andreas Fery) has been published in Soft Matter. It shows wrinkling of Cosserat shells in action!
- Apr. 28, 2021: The preprint Conforming Finite Elements for H(sym Curl) and H(dev sym Curl) has been uploaded to arXiv.
- Mar. 18, 2021: The preprint Truncated Nonsmooth Newton Multigrid for phase-field brittle-fracture problems (with Carsten Gräser and Daniel Kienle) has seen a major update. It now contains a large section with numerical tests.

- Sep. 17, 2020: Together with Arnold Reusken and Ivo Sbalzarini I chaired a minisymposium on Vector-and tensor-valued surface PDEs at this year's DMV Jahrestagung.
- Jul. 23, 2020: The preprint Truncated Nonsmooth Newton Multigrid for phase-field brittle-fracture problems (with Carsten Gräser and Daniel Kienle) has been uploaded to arXiv. It is a preliminary version without numerical tests. Such tests will appear in an updated version.
- Apr. 16, 2020: The Handbook of Variational Methods for Nonlinear Geometric Data has been published. Hanne Hardering and I contributed a chapter on Geometric Finite Elements.
- Apr. 3, 2020: I uploaded an updated version of the paper Getting started with DUNE. It now covers Dune Version 2.7.

- Oct. 1, 2019: The paper "The DUNE Framework: Basic Concepts and Recent Developments" (with Peter Bastian, Markus Blatt, Andreas Dedner, Nils-Arne Dreier, Christian Engwer, René Fritze, Carsten Gräser, Dominic Kempf, Robert Klöfkorn, and Mario Ohlberger) has been uploaded to arXiv.org.
- Sep. 23, 2019: I gave a keynote talk on "Geometric Finite Elements" at the DMV Jahrestagung 2019 in Karlsruhe.
- Sep. 9, 2019: Pierrick Guichard from ENSTA Paris joined the group for a half-year stay.
- Aug. 14, 2019: The review paper "Geometric Finite Elements" (with Hanne Hardering) has been accepted for inclusion into the Springer "Handbook of Variational Methods for Nonlinear Geometric Data", edited by Martin Holler, Philipp Grohs, and Andreas Weinmann.
- June, 2019: The DFG has granted funding for the project "Nonsmooth Multi-Level Optimization Algorithms for Energetic Formulations of Finite-Strain Elastoplasticity" (with Anton Schiela) as part of SPP 1962.
- Dec. 31, 2018: The paper "The quasiconvex envelope of conformally invariant planar energy functions in isotropic hyperelasticity" (with Robert J. Martin, Jendrik Voss, Ionel-Dumitrel Ghiba, and Patrizio Neff) has been uploaded to arXiv.org.
