Teaching:
In the summer semester 2025 I will give the following lectures:
- Math-Ba-NM20: Numerische Mathematik Teil 2. How to deal with sparse linear systems of equations, and ordinary differential equations too (Chapters 8-11 in the lecture notes, lecture is in German)
- Math-Ma-29: Numerics of PDEs, Part 2. What finite elements have to do with homological algebra: Hilbert complexes and Finite Element Exterior Calculus (using the book by Douglas Arnold).
IYI (if you're interested): The analytical aspects of Hilbert complexes will be covered by Dirk Pauly in the lecture "Partiellen Differentialgleichungen". It is well worth attending both lectures together.

Getting started with Dune:
I have written a book on the DUNE software system, which is published by Springer Verlag. The friendly folks at Springer gave their permission to publish the chapter on how to get started with DUNE right here as well.
