Application and Organizational Matters in Preparation for Your Exchange Semester
TU Dresden has compiled all the important information for you on its page Information for Exchange Students.
Study Offerings of the Faculty of Mathematics
- Course Descriptions / ECTS
At TU Dresden, you have the opportunity to attend courses from our two Bachelor's and four Master's degree programs in Mathematics. You can find an overview of the programs here: Mathematics (Bachelor) Business Mathematics (Bachelor) Mathematics (Master) Technomathematics (Master) Mathematics in Business and Economics (Master) Computational Modeling and Simulation (Master) - Course Catalogue of the Faculty of Mathematics
The course catalogue for the respective semester is published shortly before the semester begins. You will prepare a preliminary Learning Agreement, which can be modified at the beginning of your stay at TU Dresden. Please note that some courses run over two semesters. If you attend only the second part of such a course during your semester at TU Dresden, you might lack necessary background knowledge. In this case, please consult the study documents for the Bachelor’s or Master’s program and contact the respective module coordinator to check whether you may still participate in the course.
Course Registration via selma and OPAL
If you would like to attend a course at the Faculty of Mathematics, you must be enrolled in the respective course both on selma and on OPAL:
To enroll in mathematics courses on Selma, please contact Ms. Claudia Hess with your Learning Agreement.
If you would like to attend courses from other faculties, please get in touch with the responsible persons of the respective faculty regarding enrollment.
At the end of the semester, you can view your grades on selma.
On OPAL, you can enroll in courses independently. You will find course materials, information about exercises, etc. there.
Please note that some courses may not have an OPAL course.
