The chair introduces itself

The Chair of Physics Education is responsible for physics didactics teaching and research. In the area of teaching, student teachers are trained in physics for secondary schools and vocational schools.
The focus here is on training in school experiments. Students also have the opportunity to regularly carry out school-related projects which, in addition to the obligatory practical school studies, enable them to gain additional practical teaching experience at out-of-school learning locations. 

In the area of research, the focus is on mathematics in physics lessons, modern physics and the use of digital media.

The professorship was also involved in the TUD sylber project as part of the teacher training quality offensive.
