Brief description: High-performance, modern OLED displays use stacked OLED device architectures. For energy-efficient operation, charge generation units (CGUs) are required to connect OLEDs vertically in series. CGUs require highly doped n- and p-layers. In this collaborative project, the IAP will conduct fundamental research into the physics of these organic p/n junctions and, in cooperation with CREDOXYS GmbH, investigate new p-dopants for high-performance CGUs.
