SFB structure and partners

The collaborative research center comprises 3 project areas - A: Theory, B: Materials, C: Electronic Properties - hosting 19 scientific projects with  33 principal investigators. The full team of contributors consists of approx. 130 scientists.

The SFB is hosted by Technische Universität Dresden (TUD). In addition, the following institutions participate: the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research (IFW) Dresden, the Max Planck Institutes for the Physics of Complex Systems (MPI-PKS) and for Chemical Physics of Solids (MPI-CPfS), the Helmholtz Center Dresden-Rossendorf (HZDR), and the TU Berlin.

Administrative matters of the SFB are dealt with by the coordinator and the steering committee.
