Application procedure via uniassist
- First degree (Bachelor) holders physics, chemistry, nanotechnology, materials science or a related field
- Students with a basic knowledge of chemistry
- Students with a sound knowledge in physics and mathematics
- Students who enjoy interdisciplinary research and learning
- Students who want to work practically in a lab
- Fluent English speakers (level C1)
Please note: from most non-EU countries (including India, China...) a minimum of a 4-year Bachelor degree or 3-year Bachelor’s degree plus 1-year Master’s degree is required (i.e., a minimum of a 4-year study duration).
You can enroll to our Master’s Program only in the winter semester (i.e. each October). To enroll in October, the following application deadlines must be met:

Depending on the country which issued your first degree, you will have to apply either directly at TU Dresden or via the application portal uni-assist (handling fee applies; applications will only be processed once uni-assist has received your payment).

Do not forget to include a certified English or German translation for all transcripts that are not provided in English or German!
