** The university entrance qualification is the school leaving certificate in the case of applications for an undergraduate degree program; in the case of applications for an advanced master's degree program, it is the first university degree. In the case of the Abitur, please note the following:
- A German Abitur can also be acquired at a German school abroad (e.g. DIA/Deutsches Internationales Abitur).
- The Feststellungsprüfung at the Studienkolleg does NOT count as a German Abitur.
- The IB (International Baccalaureate) obtained at an international school in Germany or abroad counts as a foreign university entrance qualification.
Additional information for an application in multiple degree programs in combination with NC subjects (e.g. Teacher Training or in Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences)
In multiple degree programs, you are required to choose 2 subjects as part of your application. If at least one subject has admission restrictions, the application deadline for NC degree programs applies. If your chosen subject combination contains 2 admission-restricted (NC) subjects, you will only be admitted to the program at the TU Dresden if you are granted admission in both chosen subjects (full admission). In order to improve your chances of a possible full admission, it is sensible to apply for multiple subject combinations in the corresponding multiple degree program (e.g. Teacher Training in Secondary Schools, Middle Schools and Vocational Schools). This is not possible in the Teacher Training in Elementary Schools, since only one core subject must be chosen. Please note that each application for a further subject combination must be completely re-entered by you in the online portal and you will receive a new application number for each application. Attention! Already enrolled students who want to change to a new NC subject, please note that it is not possible to apply for higher subject semesters after 15.7. or after 15.1.
