Project completion GBU SmarD

The "Healthy work with smart devices - GBU SmarD" project was launched in 2022 with the aim of creating a risk analysis of the stress caused by smart devices and a catalog of measures. On 29.04.2025, the GBU SmarD project team presented the current results at the third and final advisory board meeting.

A comprehensive action guide was created as part of the project. It contains the first risk assessment for mobile devices as work equipment (smartphone, tablet, data glasses, smartwatch). At the same time, it addresses the needs of companies to consider potential hazards when selecting and introducing the devices.

Anyone interested in the guide should contact Frederike Pischke(E-Mail: ). The finished version will be submitted to the DGUV with the project report at the end of August 2025 and reviewed. In the 4th quarter of 2025, it should be publicly accessible in the DGUV database and/or on the website of accident insurance institutions.
