Studying for a doctorate and habilitation (senior post-doctoral qualifications) at the Faculty of Psychology
Are you interested in a doctorate or senior post-doctoral qualification in Psychology? The School of Science awards the academic degrees, on the basis of completing a doctorate, of Dr. rer. nat. (Doctor rerum naturalium) or a PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) for the Technische Universität Dresden.
The German postdoctoral qualification known as habilitation proves the particular qualification for research and for independent academic teaching in a special field. The habilitation awards the venia legendi (teaching permission) and allows to have the addition "habil." to the doctor's degree.
