Quality oriented consumer protection
This research focus deals conceptually with alternatives to a purely quantity-oriented and ineffective approach within the framework of comprehensive consumer protection. Comprehensive consumer protection for the group of social players includes, among others, sufficient information on game mechanisms and procedures, on the probability of winning and losing, risk information, information on game-relevant parameters during the course of the game, a player card with options for pauses and for limiting the length of the game and the use of money, advertising guidelines and distance regulations to schools and youth facilities. Furthermore, it is necessary to deal with the issues at school and in the family (universal prevention) and a better control of the ban on the participation of minors (selective prevention) (as well as Bühringer, 2015a, 2015b, 2016, 2018; Bühringer et al, 2015, 2016a, 2016b, 2016c, 2017a, 2017b, 2017c, 2018a, 2018b; Bühringer & Ennuschat, 2016; Bühringer & Kräplin; Forberger & Bühringer, 2014; Walter & Bühringer, 2016;).
