Many of TU Dresden's partner universities offer various short-term student exchange programs, such as summer schools, intercultural training or language courses. There is also the possibility of Blended Short Term Mobility, which is eligible for Erasmus funding.

Current programs in Europe
Latvia
The Summer Schools 2026 at Riga Technical University (RTU) offer you the chance to acquire interdisciplinary knowledge in areas such as technology, photonics and languages.
Programs:
- Swarm& Detect: UAV in Smart Citites (August 3 - 14 | 1000 €)
Focus: Drone technologies in smart city development - ChipLight: Integrated Photonics (August 3 - 14 | 1000 €)
Focus: Future technologies in photonics - Soft Skills for Deep Tech (August 12 - 21 | 750 €)
Focus: Essential soft skills for technology experts - English Immersion Bootcamp (August 10 - 21 | 800 €)
Focus: Improve your English and experience cultural diversity - Epico Village: Knowledge Exploration (July 13 - 26 | €600)
Focus: Creative approaches to knowledge transfer

Funding
You can apply for a scholarship from the Latvian government for the Summer Schools. All information about the scholarships can be found on the website.
Current programs outside Europe
Mexico
Tec de Monterrey is once again offering interesting summer and winter schools this year, specializing in language, culture and intercultural exchange.
Summer School (June - July)
- Language courses (Spanish for beginners to advanced)
- iSummerMX: 4-week intensive program that takes place at 4 different campus locations (e.g. Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara) with a focus on business, technology and Mexican culture. Lessons in Spanish or English
Winter School (Jan - Feb)
- Spanish language courses + courses on Mexican culture & history or business in Mexico
