UK
The University of Aberdeen is offering 3 exciting summer schools in summer 2026, covering different topics in the STEM field.
1. Archaeology Field Excavation Summer School
A 3-week course where you will receive a guided tour of known Picts excavation sites, including an insight into the basics of fieldwork and excavation. You will also be able to take part in an actual excavation at the East Lomond hillfort in Fife. During this summer school you will learn how to document excavations, process data in laboratories and process the data in various programs.
You do not need any previous knowledge for this summer school.

2. Drug Design and Discovery
A summer school where you can deepen your knowledge of chemistry and develop laboratory and computer skills relevant to drug design and discovery.

3. Field and Lab Skills in Biosciences

What?
1. Philosophy Summer School
2-week summer school on the topic of philosophy. Various lectures on current topics and discussions with academics, including a cultural program for participants.
2. Scotland: History, Heritage and Culture
This 2-week summer school is the ideal introduction for all students interested in Scottish history. From the 17th century to the present day, the most important historical milestones are covered.

Italy
The I.S.E.O. Summer School 2026 in Italy offers an intensive program for Master and PhD students from 13 - 20 June 2026. Under the title "The New Global Economic Order", renowned economic experts, including several Nobel Prize winners, will analyze current challenges of the world economy such as geopolitical changes, AI and global inflation. In addition to lectures and discussions, there will be a poster session for students' own research projects.

The University of Strasbourg invites you to the third edition of the Summer Scholl "The European Identity: Past, Present and Future". You can explore European history, politics, economy and society in one of Europe's most symboliccities. The program combines interdisciplinary courses, meetings with EU representatives and a varied cultural program.

The ten-day summer program in Lorraine (FR) is aimed at students who are interested in art, inclusion and innovative technologies. In teams, you will develop an inclusive game for museums using technologies such as 3D printing, laser cutting and virtual reality. In addition to the workshops, you will discover the culture and history of the region, in particular the art movement "Ecole de Nancy". The program is also conducted in English and no previous knowledge is required.

The two-week SECOIAS Summer School at INSA Toulouse offers a practical introduction to security and communication technologies for aerospace embedded systems. Four modules (including embedded systems, secure radio communication, etc.) impart application-oriented skills. The program is complemented by excursions (Airbus, LAAS-CNRS) and cultural activities.

The Summer School offers exciting courses on Business in Europe.
Course 1: Responsible Leadership for a Sustainable Europe: Develop skills for sustainable development and intercultural leadership

The two international summer universities "Alternative Economic and Monetary Systems (AEMS)" and "Green.Building.Solutions. (GBS)" offer you the opportunity to deal intensively with sustainability and to deepen your knowledge in this field. AEMS deals with alternative economic and financial systems and shows how sustainable approaches can solve global challenges. GBS focuses on ecological construction and sustainable urban development - ideal if you are interested in innovative solutions in the construction industry.

The "Explore European Diversity 2026" Summer Course at HEC Liège offers you the opportunity to discover Europe through interactive seminars, cultural activities and visits to important institutions.
You can choose between a 2-week (Belgium, France, Netherlands) or 3-week (Belgium, France, Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg) option. In addition to lectures on European topics, you can expect excursions to Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels and social activities with local students.

The National Tsing Hua University (NTHU) in Taiwan invites you to the Mango Summer Program (MSP) 2026. The four-week program offers a combination of academic content, a varied cultural program and language courses.
The focus is on technology and innovation, especially in the semiconductor industry.

South Korea
The International Summer School 2026 offers three programs that combine academic learning with intercultural exchange and an insight into Korean culture.

The International Summer Program (ISP) at Seoul National University is a five-week intensive program with 71 English-language courses from numerous departments. The courses are taught by SNU lecturers and international visiting researchers. All courses are open to international students. Korean language courses are also offered at various levels.

South Korea
In 2026, the University of Seoul is offering two exciting programs that allow interested students to experience Seoul up close - whether for a summer or a whole semester (or two).
Seoul International Summer School I (SISS I) combines English-language university courses with Korean lessons and a varied cultural program. The ideal mix if you want to do something for your studies and immerse yourself in Korean culture at the same time.
The Seoul Visiting Student Program (SVSP) is aimed at anyone planning a longer stay in Korea. As a visiting student, you will study for one or two semesters at one of the renowned universities in the center of Seoul - with courses in Korean or English and a full campus experience.
