Basics of Scientific Reading and Writing in the Summer Term 2025
We all read and write every day. And most of us struggle with it from time to time. Academic writing and reading is more than just a skill you learn in school.
In the summer semester, the TU Dresden Writing Center and the SLUB are once again offering a joint series of events on the basics of academic reading and writing on Wednesdays from 13:00 to 14:30: In lectures with tips and exercises (in German), you can find out, for example
- what type of writer and worker you are,
- how you can organize your writing process well and overcome writer's block
- how you can structure and revise your texts sensibly,
- which reading and writing strategies can help you and
- how you can use literature management and other helpful software.
Every Wednesday, 4th double lesson (13:00 - 14:30), online or FOE room 135, from April 9, 2025 (all dates in the overview below).
