Scholarship community
The scholarship community offers all scholarship holders of the Deutschlandstipendium an ideal support framework. At the opening of each scholarship year, all scholarship holders can get to know each other at the official scholarship celebration and make contacts with each other and with the sponsors during the Get-together following the celebration.
The best opportunity to get involved in the scholarship community is at the first information meeting of the working groups in November of each scholarship year. Here, the scholarship holders stay among themselves, can ask questions about the scholarship to the team and, above all, exchange ideas about the various possibilities of becoming involved in the scholarship. The various engagements function within the framework of working groups, or AG's for short. All already existing AG's are briefly presented below. It is always possible to become active in an AG or to found a new AG.
All news from the scholarship community will be published on the scholarship blog, so subscribe now and don't miss a thing.

Table of contents
AG Stammtisch (regulars' table)
The AG Stammtisch plans regulars' tables for our scholarship holders in the form of meetings or excursions. So far, for example, community evenings have been organised in the Barneby games bar, ice skating or hiking days in Saxon Switzerland. As a member you plan and coordinate events together with other scholarship holders. This includes the reservation of venues for events, the preparation of a description of the event and the corresponding dudle, in which all interested scholarship holders can register to take part in the event. The AG is looking forward to an increase in members in every field of study!

AG Studieninfo mal anders (Study information differently)
What do I want to study? What does life as a student look like? The working group "Study information differently" has set itself the goal of supporting pupils in the 10th to 13th grades in these questions by organising lectures and question rounds at schools through the scholarship holders. The student perspective on the most diverse courses of study should strengthen the educational opportunities for everyone. In return, the AG is happy about every increase in members, so that as many study courses as possible can be presented "differently".

AG Netzwerk und ideelle Förderung (Network and Ideal Support)
The Working Group "Network and Ideal Support" offers scholarship holders the opportunity to participate in exciting events such as company tours and workshops every semester. The AG is in close contact with numerous companies in the Dresden area and beyond.
The programme ranges from workshops on various topics such as project management, assessment centre training to guided tours of research institutions and companies.
Anyone who is interested in becoming involved in this working group or would like to contact us to organise an event is welcome to contact us by e-mail.

AG Blog
The AG Blog informs constantly about the latest news and events in the network of the Deutschlandstipendium at the TU Dresden. Announcements and reviews of events can be found here - no matter if scholarship celebrations, network meetings, workshops, regulars' tables or excursions and much more.
In addition, we present various companies, institutions, associations and private individuals who support the Deutschlandstipendium in our "sponsor portraits". Scholarship holders are of course not neglected by us either, and are invited to ask our curious questions under "Scholarship holders' portraits". And in order to bring the two together, we have our D'Stips report on their experiences in the "My Sponsor and I" section. In addition to all this, we also have the special annual task of supporting and encouraging the Stips-for-Stips fundraising campaign. Have you become curious? Then you can read the latest articles here.

AG Botschafter
The goal of the AG Botschafter (Ambassador) is to inspire potential sponsors and prospective students for the Deutschlandstipendium at the TU Dresden. To this end, scholarship holders from various disciplines are trained as ambassadors. The ambassador trainings are organized together with Santander universities and provide the future ambassadors with important soft skills and background knowledge about the Deutschlandstipendium.
So if you are interested in becoming an ambassador or just want to tell other students about the Deutschlandstipendium, please contact us!

AG International
The AG International is currently undergoing a transformation. For a while there was no official AG International, because some members successfully finished their studies. However, as was shown at the AG meeting in 2018, many scholarship holders would like to revive this AG with a fresh breeze.
The focus of the former working group was on working with single refugees from different crisis areas. The working group organised weekly meetings with the young people to play, listen to music and chat. She also helped with homework. The working group also dealt with the question of how more acceptance and understanding can be created in the population with regard to asylum and migration. Perhaps you are familiar with the beer mat campaign (facts against regulars' slogans) with which the working group successfully carried out educational work.
