Language skills as a prerequisite for certain degree programmes
Some degree programmes require proof of language skills to a certain level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) in order to enrol Language skills are assessed in the following way:
B1 Level
B1 Level
Successful completion of a language course after three years of instruction
B2 Level
B2 Level
Successful completion of language studies as part of the university entrance qualification (German Abitur or equivalent)
As a rule, proof is to be provided in the form of a university entrance qualification, a completed bachelor’s degree or a certificate of the successful completion of a language course.
C1/C2 Level
C1/C2 Level
As a rule, a completed bachelor’s degree is required as proof.
