Project Sustainable Campus
With the Sustainable Campus project, the activities of the environmental management regarding sustainable development of the TU campus are concretized.This means in paticular to improve biodiversity and quality of stay on the campus.
Within the framework of the project, the exchange with other universities, scientific organisations and institutions on sustainability issues will also be expanded. The project is involved in the development of sustainability at universities both at state and federal level.
Aims and measures for a sustainable development of the TU campus
To preserve and further develop the campus with its manifold possibilities as a valuable habitat for numerous animal and plant species.
To enhance the quality of the campus with its available green and open spaces by offering appropriate offers for students, employees and visitors. When implementing these measures, the campus should ensure that the areas and materials used are multifunctional and sustainable.
Cooperation and the exchange of knowledge, skills, competences and innovations provide the opportunity for the continuous further development of a sustainable campus design and the establishment of TUD-specific solutions.
