Shortly after sunrise for all early risers and all those who want to start their working day early and motivated, we organize the first digital writing start morning with info breakfast:

On Thursday, September 2, 2021, from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., you can join the team of the Writing Center of TU-Dresden (SZD) and the SLUB Knowledge Bar/ SLUB TextLab to

• clarify your questions about scientific writing and working.
• write productively on your own work together with other students.
• pick up writing impulses, methods and tips for a productive start into the day.

We offer you:

• A central consultation room where you can meet all specialists of the Writing Center & the SLUB Wissensbar/ SLUB TextLab in one place (Consultation in English possible).
  No matter if you have general questions about the writing and working process or special questions about citation and research, you are guaranteed to find the right contact person at the Writing Start Morning.
• Workspaces in which you can write and work together with other writers according to the proven "tomatoes technique".
  This method enables structured and therefore usually faster and more concentrated work. This way you can finish your tasks before lunch.

• A "breakfast room with informational snacks" or with 30-minute impulse presentations (in German):
  The coffee is made, the sandwiches are greased & the muesli is prepared? While you take care of your physical well-being, the colleagues of the SLUB and the SZD offer you the intellectual nourishment you need to start the day productive and motivated.
  From research & citation to writing habits & writing strategies, we offer you a rich program with information for everyone's taste.
