Administration & Digitalization
The digitalization of administrative processes is an important building block on the way to becoming a globally oriented top university for the 21st century. Digitalization is intended to increase the efficiency of administration in order to create scope for excellent teaching and research.
In order to actively shape the process of digital transformation at the TUD, we rely on concrete concepts for the digitalization of a product or service through the introduction, development or adaptation of IT services. The concepts are implemented as part of IT and digitalization projects. To manage these projects, the Digital Administration Steering Committee and the Digital Administration Project Coordination Team have been established in CDIO governance, in which all individual projects are managed with the overarching goal of digitizing administrative processes.
Under the leadership of the CDIO, the Steering CommitteeDigital Administration makes all strategic decisions for the assigned digitalization projects, such as prioritizing projects, approving project plans and monitoring project progress.
An overview of all projects assigned to the steering committee can be found in the project overview (intranet).
In addition to the Steering Committee, the Project Coordination TeamDigital Administration is an operational body that enables project managers of digitization projects in the TUD administration context to exchange information.
An overview of IT services to support administrative processes can be found in the overview of central IT services (intranet).
