The 17 global goals for sustainable development of the 2030 Agenda (Sustainable Development Goals - SDGs) are considered a "roadmap" for the future. They are addressed to governments worldwide, civil society, the private sector and academia. With the help of the 2030 Agenda, a dignified life is to be made possible worldwide, while at the same time the natural foundations of life are to be permanently preserved. The goals encompass economic, ecological and social aspects. The SDGs are also widely represented at the Technische Universität Dresden.
