The path to highly endowed awards in science is just as difficult as the path to permanent employment. In recent years, four female researchers working in Dresden have successfully acquired the ERC Consolidator Grant, one of the most prestigious European science awards.

The Women@DDc network invites you to a discussion with three of them at the COSMO Science Forum in the Kulturpalast Dresden on May 29, 2024.

Dr. Meritxell Huch (Group Leader, MPI-CBG), Dr. Dora Tang (Group Leader, MPI-CBG) and Prof. Dr. Elena Hassinger (Chair of Low-Temperature Physics of Complex Electron Systems, TU Dresden) have taken highly individual paths to this award. In the discussion, they will provide insights into the process from the development of their research project through the application procedure to successful funding and reflect on their experiences and the knowledge they have gained.
