Anniversary at TU Dresden: 25 years of International Relations at the Center for International Studies
The Center for International Studies (ZIS) at TUD Dresden University of Technology is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its Bachelor's and Master's degree programs in International Relations from November 9 to 11. The festivities also mark the 20th anniversary of the ZIS as a Central Academic Unit of TU Dresden. The anniversary will be celebrated in cooperation with UNU FLORES (UNU Institute for Integrated Management of Material Fluxes and of Resources) and the UN Day celebrations at a symposium in the City Hall Ballroom, as well as with a scientific conference on „Realizing Sustainable Development post-2030: The International Politics, Economics and Law of Clean Water & Sanitation (SDG 6)“ in the Victor Klemperer Hall of the Saxon State and University Library (SLUB) where TU Rector Prof. Ursula Staudinger will give a welcome speech.
The ZIS was founded in 2002 and has continuously developed its degree programs ever since. The most recent addition was the International Law and Economics Master's degree focus in 2022. ZIS alumni work all over the world, including in careers at the Federal Foreign Office in Berlin and as internationally renowned professors, such as Prof. Nicolas Lamp or Prof. Janina Dill.
