TU Dresden protests against the treatment of academic staff in Turkey
It is with great concern that TU Dresden has taken note of the latest news regarding the treatment of academics in Turkey.
The Rectorate of TU Dresden, on behalf of the entire university, concurs with the statement of Prof. Horst Hippler, President of the German Rectors’ Conference (HRK):

“In addition, we would like to assure all our students and staff from Turkey that we are very glad that they study and teach at our university, that we value their work and that we do not want to do without them”, states the Rector, Prof. Hans Müller-Steinhagen.
For Turkish students and scientists, TU Dresden’s International Office is available for inquires and will try to obtain information regarding the current situation ().
There are currently 57 Turkish students enrolled at TU Dresden. In addition, 17 members of staff from Turkey work at the university.
