“We are very proud and can hardly believe it", says Helene Kretzschmar, economic director of the TUD racing team Elbflorace, about the "fabulous 1^st place" result in the competition "Business Plan Presentation". Jan Froneberg and Moritz Mischke from Elbflorace were able to prevail over teams from TU Delft and TU Munich. Since 28^th July 2019, 58 student racing teams from 18 nations have been competing against one another on the Red Bull race track in Spielberg, Austria in racecars designed and built by the teams themselves. The cars have to prove their capabilities in various competitions, including acceleration, endurance on a 22 kilometre course, cornering ability and watertightness in the rain test. In one of the competitions, candidates had to present their own business plan. The teams presented potential investors a fictitious but realistic business idea regarding the racing car. In the sub-disciplines acceleration, cornering technique and MotoX (fast lap with tricky corners), Elbforace was also successful. The final results of all technical disciplines will be announced on the evening of 1^st August after the final endurance test.
