Registration opens for the 2023 summer semester sport courses
The Dresden University Sports Center (DHSZ) team and the course instructors have once again worked hard to put together a varied athletics program for the 2023 summer semester. From A for acrobatics and O for online fitness through to Z for Zumba, there’s something for everyone. The “LaFiNa” (LangeFitnessNacht – or fitness night) will take place again this June. Combined with a summer festival to celebrate the opening of the sports field on August-Bebel-Strasse, June 28 will be an eventful athletics day for all students and employees of universities in Dresden.
Many of the sports on offer will be more inclusive in the future. For example, accessible sailboats and table tennis tables suited to wheelchair users have already been purchased for the corresponding courses.
The complete course schedule will be posted on the DHSZ website on March 29, 2023. Registration will open on April 5 and courses will begin on April 11, 2023.
To ensure the variety and abundance of athletics courses, the DHSZ is always on the lookout for instructors. If you are looking for a side job with a decent wage, you enjoy exercise, can coach a sport and are interested in leading a course, please get in touch with us.
