Uzbek Ambassador visits TU Dresden: Focus on strengthening academic partnerships

On July 8, 2025, His Excellency Dilshod Akhatov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Federal Republic of Germany, visited the University Executive Board of TU Dresden together with diplomats Sherzod Hasanov (Department of Education and Health) and Khondamir Boymatov (Department of Politics).
The informal exchange with TUD Rector Prof. Ursula Staudinger and Prof. Ronald Tetzlaff, Chief Officer Technology Transfer and Internationalization at TUD, focused on promoting academic relations between Uzbekistan and Germany. The objective is to further expand existing partnerships between TU Dresden and Uzbek universities and to explore opportunities for both joint research projects and mobility programs.
