The Youth and Trainee Representatives (JAV) comprise five members who were elected in May 2023.

Susi Finkel (Chair)

Hey! I’m Susi and I’m 24 years young. I completed my training as an IT specialist in 2018 and I’ve been working as a JAV for several years. It’s important to me that everyone has a great training experience and that digitalization also starts to gain traction. In my free time, I love spending time with my dog or a good book.

Justin Lindner (Deputy Chair)

My name is Justin Lindner and I’m 22 years old! I’m an industrial mechanic apprentice in my third year of study. In my free time, I play handball, cycle and go hiking in the countryside. I’m driven by my resolve to make a difference.

Felix Meyer

I’m Felix Meyer. I’m 19 years old and I completed my training as a mechatronics engineer in 2022. In my free time, I play guitar and sing in a band. I’m also a member of the volunteer fire brigade. As a student body rep. at school, I was happy to offer help and support to my friends and classmates. Now as a member of JAV, I’d like to do the same for you.

Matti Geyer

My name is Matti and I’m 24 years old. I successfully completed my training as an industrial engineer at TU Dresden. After my training, I was employed by the Institute of Hydraulic Engineering and Technical Hydromechanics. I play football, do high diving and like to go hiking in Saxon Switzerland in my free time.

Lisa May

Hi, my name is Lisa, I´m 26 years old and finished my vocational education as a microtechnologist in 2019. Now I´m still working at a lab at the university. In 2021 I become a member in the Personnel Representation Council. In my leisure time I sanify an old house, make music, go swimming and hiking oder play computer games.

Elias Teubner (Ersatzmitglied)

My name is Elias and I´m 22 years old. I started my vocational training as an tree nursery gardener in the forest botanical garden in Tharandt. I like to have a peaceful and respectful community and contribute with my help at the JAV. In my leisure time I like to listen to musik, play the guitar and take care of my plants.
