The TUD Personnel Representation Council represents the interests of employees in all matters relating to their employment relationship and workplace. As an elected body, the Personnel Representation Council has an important function in co-determination and participation in personnel policy decisions. It is committed to fair working conditions, equal opportunities and the protection of employees' rights.

Tasks
Here is an overview of the most important tasks and responsibilities:

Co-determination in personnel decisions: The Personnel Representation Council has a say in hiring, transfers, promotions and dismissals. These decisions must be agreed in advance with the Personnel Representation Council.

Organization of working hours and working conditions: The Personnel Representation Council advocates fair working time regulations and accompanies the introduction of new working time models or work organizations.

Occupational health and safety: The Personnel Representation Council works closely with the relevant departments to improve working conditions and ensure health protection for all employees.

Training and further education: The Personnel Representation Council promotes professional development and works to ensure that employees have access to necessary training and further education.

The Personnel Representation Council is available to all employees for questions and concerns regarding personnel matters. All members of the Staff Council are bound by law to confidentiality. You can decide for yourself whether the Personnel Representation Council may pass on personal information that you entrust to it.
Our consultation hours take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or by appointment in the office of the Personnel Representation Council(seminar building). You can also reach us by telephone from Monday to Friday on +49 351 463-33876 or by video conference. The dates of the on-site consultation hours can be found on the TUD intranet. If an appointment is not listed there, there will be no on-site consultation hours.
