The representation takes place regardless of whether the position is part-time or full-time, whether the employment relationship is temporary or permanent, financed from third-party funds or from the university budget. We negotiate service agreements and monitor compliance with them as well as compliance with relevant laws, develop proposals for improving working conditions and health protection. In addition, we have a say in the design of workplaces and in many personnel matters (e.g. termination, working time regulations...). We must be informed by the employer about matters affecting employees.
In order to fulfil our tasks, we are also dependent on dialogue with the workforce!

Basically, the staff council would like to contribute with its ideas to a better working atmosphere or to solving problems and to ensure that you get your rights. We are speakers, mediators, helpers, co-decision-makers, partly controllers and contact persons for all official matters.
