Tree sponsorships for the campus

This idea of the TUD environmental initiative TUUWI is a sub-project of the "Masterplan Campus Design". The tree population on campus has been greatly reduced in recent years due to numerous construction measures and the necessary traffic safety obligations. Replacement and compensatory planting has not always benefited the campus. In cooperation with the TUD Environmental Protection Group, the Sächsisches Immobilien- und Baumanagement (SIB) and the City of Dresden, over 50 sponsored trees have been planted on campus since spring 2018.

A sponsorship letter can be issued in the amount of EUR 500 or EUR 1,000. We are happy to take your suggestions regarding the location or type of tree and discuss the possibilities with you.

Bank sponsorships for the campus

The installation of benches as a meeting point, a place for communication or a place to pause for a moment is another milestone in the implementation of the campus design master plan. To mark the 30th anniversary of its re-founding as the TU Dresden's sponsorship association, the GFF launched a fundraising campaign entitled "Sponsor benches for the campus". And the response was impressive: in addition to donations from numerous members and network partners of the GFF itself, Chairs, teams from Central Units, former university members and alumni also took part following a campus-wide appeal. In the meantime, 21 sponsored benches have been installed and used on campus.
