Antidiscrimination Bingo
Students find many things in the so-called Welcome-bags of their FSR: brochures, goddies, advertisements. This year you also found a tip slip for the anti-discrimination bingo.
1 of 4 different tip slips is meant to sensitise the new students to various incidents of harassment, discrimination and violence. At the same time, different examples are named to draw an understanding of how a discrimination-sensitive environment can be designed:
The tutorial date is brought forward because a single fellow student has to pick up his child from daycare later.
I researched academics in my department from the Global South.
I read the TUD policy on dealing with harassment, discrimination and violence.
If at least 3 boxes are crossed horizontally, vertically or diagonally, students can shout out BINGO and report to the contact person for incidents of harassment, discrimination (BDG complaints office of the TU Dresden). A small prize awaits.
All those who also want to take part in the anti-discrimination BINGO can download the tip sheet here.
