In cooperation with the Saxon State Ministry of Justice and for Democracy, Europe and Equality, the Training Centre of Meißen University of Applied Sciences offers the interactive learning programme "Fit for Equal Treatment" in two modules.

In the basic module, the participants (staff members of all career groups) should

• be sensitised to a discrimination-free working environment,
• know the scope of protection of the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG), and
• avoid discrimination in everyday working life and be able to defend themselves with the instruments of the AGG.

In the advanced module for managers, the participants should

•     know obligations and possibilities for action to prevent or eliminate discrimination,
• be informed about cooperation with complaints bodies and
• be able to recognise the opportunities of diversity and use them in their work environment.
