What is the legal basis for the processing of personal data?
The legal basis for the processing of personal data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR (consent), i.e. the use of and consent to the associated processing of your personal data are voluntary.
What personal data is processed?
Surname, first name, e-mail address, affiliation to the group of employees or students, including assignment to the degree programs and organizational units, affiliation to the group of employees of the member institutions of the Dresden Work and Family Network, including assignment to the member institution, are processed.
How long is personal data stored?
Personal data will be deleted after the end of the event at the latest, provided there are no legal grounds for deletion. This does not affect the legality of processing based on consent until revocation.
If personal data is transmitted to recipients, who at TU Dresden has access to this data and is data collected from third parties?
Unless otherwise stipulated by law or you have expressly consented in individual cases, no personal data will be transferred to third parties. A list of participants is only compiled for internal purposes and is not made available to event participants.
What rights do data subjects have?
- Voluntariness and revocation according to Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR
The provision of personal data is voluntary. Consent to the processing of personal data can be revoked at any time in accordance with Art. 7 para. 3 GDPR with the consequence that the personal data of the person concerned will no longer be processed. - Right to information (Art. 15 GDPR)
Data subjects have the right to request information about the personal data processed about them and the possible recipients of this data at any time. They are entitled to a response within one month of receipt of the request for information. - Right to rectification, erasure and restriction (Art. 16 - 18 GDPR)
Data subjects can request the TU Dresden to rectify, erase or restrict the processing of their personal data at any time. - Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
Data subjects may request that the data controller transmit their personal data to them in a machine-readable format. Alternatively, they may request the direct transfer of the personal data provided by you to another controller, insofar as this is possible. - Data Protection Officer and supervisory authority for data protection
