The digital world offers scientists exciting opportunities to become visible as experts — not only on platforms like LinkedIn and ResearchGate, but increasingly also through search engines and artificial intelligence–driven tools. When it comes to online presence, researchers face key questions: How can I ensure that my expertise is found by recruiters, collaborators, or funding institutions? How do search algorithms and AI systems recognize me as an expert? This short workshop provides answers to the following questions:
The workshop supports doctoral candidates and postdocs in systematically developing their digital expert profile. By learning to work with relevant keywords and understanding how search engines and AI systems evaluate content, participants expand their visibility both in the scientific community and for recruiters and institutions on the job market. Katja Wolter M.A. studied Business Administration at the University of Applied Sciences Stralsund and John‐Moores‐University in Liverpool (England). She was working in Finance for an international Company in Frankfurt am Main, Consultant of the Administrative Director of Rundfunk Berlin Brandenburg (rbb), Director of Finance and Controlling at Deutsche Entertainment AG in Berlin and in a Project Management Organisation in the field of Biotechnology.
