Diversity-Sensitive Teaching Award 2024: Congratulations to the award winners!
The annual Diversity-Sensitive Teaching Award was presented for the seventh time on August 14, 2024 as part of the Senate meeting. The aim of the teaching award is to recognize teaching staff and concepts that deal with the topic of diversity or its individual dimensions in line with the 2030 Diversity Strategy. The award winners received prize money totaling 10,000 euros financed by Excellence Strategy funds.
The 2024 award winners are:
- PD Dr. Monika Valtink and Anne Röhle. They will receive 4,000 euros in prize money in recognition of their many years of commitment to diversity in teaching at the Faculty of Medicine, in particular for the "gender-sensitive medicine" lecture series and for courses at the Medical Interprofessional Training Center
- Viviane Renner and Roman Semmler receive 3,000 euros in prize money as an award for the Pride Week project on queerness in educational contexts at the Faculty of Education.

Barbara Hoffmann receives 3,000 euros in prize money as an award for the course "Tanztheater-alle Niveaustufen" at the Dresden University Sports Center.
The Vice-Rectorate for University Culture, the Vice-Rectorate for Education and the Unit Diversity Management would like to congratulate all those honored on their success. They would also like to thank all applicants and the members of the jury for their diverse commitment to diversity-sensitive teaching at TU Dresden.
