German Diversity Day 2022
German Diversity Day on 31.05.2022 with the motto "Let's celebrate Diversity" celebrating its 10th anniversary.
On today`s German Diversity Day, the Unit of Diversity Management takes the opportunity to announce the winners of the teaching prize for diversity-sensitive teaching.
The aim of the teaching prize is to honor teachers and/or teaching concepts that deal with diversity or one or more dimensions of diversity (e.g. gender, inclusion, origin, family responsibilities) in line with the TU Dresden's Diversity Strategy 2030. A selection committee has now awarded one first and three other prizewinners:

- Prof. Dr. Moritz Inwersen, Professur Literatur Nordamerikas SK Future Studies and Dr. Alison Sperling, TU Berlin: Global Weirding: Human-Environment Estrangements in Literature, Art and Theory
- Melanie Ludwig, Zentrum für Weiterbildung: TUTORING- Methodisch-didaktische Basisqualifizierung für Fachtutor:innen aller Studiengänge der TU Dresden
The award ceremony will take place during one of the next senate meetings in 2022. The Vice-Rectorate University Culture and the Staff unit Diversity Management congratulate the winners!
The TU Dresden takes the nationwide Diversity Day on 31.5.2022 under the motto "Let's celebrate Diversity" as an opportunity to draw attention to its commitment to diversity. Diversity is of paramount importance to TU Dresden, as diverse people with different experiences and backgrounds study and work at the university. TU Dresden actively promotes an open university culture characterized by the participation of all people and based on mutual respect, recognition and appreciation.
TU Dresden has already joined the "Charta der Vielfalt" in 2019. By signing this Charta, TU Dresden has become part of a network of currently 3,900 signatories who are committed to promoting the recognition, appreciation and inclusion of diversity in society and to promoting respectful and unprejudiced cooperation in their institutions.
