Communicating a democratic attitude is one of the central tasks of teachers. But what can teachers do when students or colleagues confront them with anti-democratic and discriminatory statements? In the workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn about and try out communication strategies that are helpful when dealing with anti-democratic statements. We will also ask ourselves together what neutrality the professional role demands - and what neutrality it does not.
Contents:
- Presentation and exercises Argumentation and action strategies
- Differentiation between arguing and positioning
- Neutrality in the work context
- Work on case studies from the participants' practice
Methods: Lecture, small group work with case studies, reflection rounds
Language: German, but can be supplemented with English notes/content if required.
