Diversity Days 2024Diversity through participation: The teaching-learning space of inclusion
The relevance of adaptable teaching and learning spaces in (higher) education lies in creating an environment that supports the diversity of learners and students and is orientated towards the needs of those using the space. This concept promotes an inclusive learning environment based on equal opportunities and mutual respect.
The workshop will present the ‘Inclusive Teaching-Learning Room’ project, which aims to strengthen positive perspectives on inclusive learning. Participants in the workshop will have the opportunity to get to know and try out various materials and digital instruments such as live transcription tools, VR technology, feedback methods and visualisation techniques. The subsequent discussion will reflect on the participatory and diversity-sensitive potential offered by this spatial concept, but also on the new barriers that may be created as a result.
Language: The programme will be in German, but can be supplemented with English information/content if required.
Target group: The event is aimed at all interested parties.
