Open Call and Save the Date: Queer Science Panel enters the 4th round
Perhaps you are currently investigating how queer characters are portrayed in contemporary literature or developing gender- and diversity-sensitive transportation concepts for urban spaces. You may be researching legal framework conditions to strengthen the rights of LGBTQIA+ people or examining the diversity of biological gender concepts. Regardless of the area of your research, the Queer Science Panel as a special colloquium is looking forward to your contribution!
In May 2025, the Queer Science Panel will take place for the 4th time as part of the IDAHOBIT (International Day Against Homo-, Bi- and Inter-hostility). It sees itself as a lively place of exchange where you can discuss both theoretical ideas and practical examples. You can present your topic in moderated talks (about 15 minutes) or poster presentations and get feedback from the interested audience. Of course, there will also be enough time to socialize and get inspired in a relaxed atmosphere.
The panel will take place on Friday, May 16 from 1:00 - 2:30 p.m. digitally via zoom and in a barrier-free room. It will be held in either English or German spoken language, translation options will be available. If there are any other concerns to enable participation, please let us know.
