Equipment rental

Lending

Equipment is lent free of charge and only to TU Dresden staff members. The reservation can be submitted via e-mail to Medientechnikausleihe with the infilled loan. Lending of equipment is only possible on presentation of a valid identity document with picture.

Notebook rental

Lending period is a maximum of 3 weeks.

15 Notebooks (15 x Lenovo T460s) with the following characteristics:
- Intel Core i5 6200 (2,3 GHz) Processor
- 8 GB RAM
- 250 GB HDD
- Integrated Intel HD Graphics 520 GPU

The laptops are provided with Windows Enterpries 10 LTSC and the following applications installed: 7zip, Sophos, openVPN, Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2022, Microsoft Office LTSC Professional Plus 2021, Firefox, Filezilla, WinSCP

When lending the devices you will be provided with both standard user credentials as well as device administrator credentials.

Please reserve the loan devices well in advance so that we can prepare and charge the devices.

Media technology loan

Students may only borrow equipment from the TUD with the prior signature/signature of an institute staff member (supervisor) and by stating a cost centre on the loan voucher.
